The Farmstop acts as a living, hyper-local agricultural baseline. It provides the raw resources (crops, seeds, and organic material) necessary for the Ecoversity’s hands-on training programs in culinary medicine, closed-loop soil biology development, cover-cropping instruction, and organic waste diversion.

The anchor institution is Bioticship. The Karkin Farmstop is building the first FarmstopOS that can operationalize farmstop, health hub, and ecoversity success. This operating system streamlines administrative duties and mitigates bureaucratic challenges. Bioticship's FarmstopOS ensures transparency and efficiency with paying farmers well (farmstop standards), coordinating local food waste and soil production, and integrating new cooperative worker-owners and local assets.
